[NEWS] BIGBANG and VIPs Are Chic

Stories from shows, interviews and fan accounts of how "chic" BIGBANG and their fans are. We're not exactly sure how accurate some of the stories are so please don't take them too seriously :P

"Chic" - a term for super cool.

When GD&TOP and Seungri went once on a radio program, T.O.P shared how VIPs aren't exactly that active about voting so even if they ranked high on online charts, they didn't have enough scores and they lost some #1 spots. Then on Seungri's guesting on Night After Night, he shared the story of how when he once told VIPs not to chase him and they just cooly say, "Let's go. He said not to chase him."

BIGBANG has always been "chic" since their debut. And probably, "Like idols like fans" is also true.

In their music videos, BIGBANG members usually kiss the girl leads (and even have bed scenes!). How do VIPs usually react? First, let's see how fans of other idols react first. [No bashing please! This is just for fun.]

Shinee World: "Oh, kids, what did the noonas do wrong?TT We are sorry and please come back.
Cassies: "We have to put up... It is already good that they can be active..."
B2uty: Ahhhhhhhhh!! Who is that girl!!
Hottest: Be...ast... Because you are beast idols.
ELF: Oppas... You cannot see other women.
VIP: Oh. Please take off the clothes. Ah... I do not mean the girl... I want Daesung and T.O.P to take off their clothes.

Let's see what happened when GD got drunk one time. Usually, GD is so "chic" but because he was drunk that time, he tried to be funny and he even asked his fans outside the building, "Do you want my autograph?" One of the oldest fans stared at him and just said, "Can you carry this kid to his room now?"

Also once, when he was a guest in a radio program, GD said, "I will not marry my fans." VIPs then commented, "Who want to marry you--", "You are not my cup of tea", "After our marriage, if I say I am still your fan, will you then divorce me?", "Hey! I will marry T.O.P, Daesung, YB and VI!"

When GD said his ideal girl is the maknae of f(x), VIPs replied, "T.O.P, VI, YB, Daesung, Gaho, BIGBANG, yeah! You all can be uncles now", "Don't touch our f(x)", etc.

VIPs are very famous for being "chic" but in fact, YGE is famous for it too. Here is a conversation between a VIP and a staff of YGE:
VIP: "When will you accept VIPs for the 4th session?" [Fanclub membership]
YG Staff: "VIPs will sort it out themselves."
VIP: "Oh, I see."

And now, more "chic" stories and conversations with fans and BIGBANG:

1) A VIP showed up in her uniform.
Seungri: Where do you study and do you have good results at school?
VIP: I study super well.
Seungri: Really? You look like you are only good at sports.

2) VIP: T.O.P oppa, who do you like more, me or Jiyong oppa?
T.O.P didn't hesitate for even 0.000000001 second and said, "Jiyong."

3) The night before their debut, Daesung was seen carrying a Doraemon guitar. Also, there was a time when he was seen flying some paper planes in front of their dorm.

4) When Seungri was a kid, he threw a worm to his female classmate and then got beat up by her after.

5) In an autograph session, a girl was determined to say the following words, "Daesung oppa, you are really ugly. I'm saying this because I got hit on the head." But what she said on the spot was, "Oppa, you are really ugly." Daesung replied, "I know that" and the fan wasn't able to say anything anymore.

6) There was a fan who waited outside the dorm for a whole night and she finally got the chance of asking an autograph from GD. Since she was very excited, she originally wanted to say, "Oppa, you are very sexy" but mistakenly said instead, "Oppa, please have sex with me..." She was not able to get an autograph.

7) A fan got an autograph and was able to get a hug from Seungri. Then, she was dragged away by the security. While she was being dragged away, she shouted, "What have I done wrong!!!!?"

8) Once, there were fans of other groups who were saying some not-so-nice things about GDYB in front of their dorm and then it was discovered that one time, GDYB hid behind some cars to listen to what they were saying so they (fans of other groups) stopped and ran away.

9) One time, some fans of Seungri asked Daesung a favor.
VIP: "Daesung ah, please help us to hand this, this and that to Seungri."
Daesung sadly said, "How about us? What do we eat?"

10) A fan bought a cape shaped like a red bean bun(?) for winter. When she saw GD, she gave it to him. GD then did this facial expression: (--+) and said, "I don't eat stuff like that. You just eat it." After hearing what GD said, the fan ran to a small park, threw the bun on the floor and the cried. [Not sure about this. Sorry!]

11) There was a fan who thought that the car parked outside the building was empty so she looked at herself in the car window because she wanted to check if she has something between her teeth. After a while, T.O.P and GD got off the car laughing.

12) GD doesn't like fans who stay outside their building. Whenever he gets off the car and goes inside their dorm, if the fans see him pulling a long face, they usually walk away. One time, a fan ran towards him and picked up something (from the ground) near him. She really looked exhausted even saying, "Aigoo... aigoo..." After, she ran towards GD and told him, "Hold this. It's your "charm". You dropped it." This made GD and the other fans burst into laughter.

13) A fanboy who had a "fierce" look took out a pair of sunglasses from a black box, wanting to give it to YB. When YB saw him, he thought he was holding a weapon so he ran back inside the company building.

14) One time, one of BB's managers was dragging a very large bag into a van. The fans were all asking, "What's inside the bag?" Later, they found out, it was T.O.P.

15) When they were doing a tour in Korea, GD pretended that he wanted to take off his clothes. Fans got excited and shouted, "Take it off! Take it off! Take it off!" GD then replied with a mischievous smile, "I am a CHIC man."

16) One time, a fan saw T.O.P in a cafe. Because she loves T.O.P so much, she moved her hands a lot in order to ask for an autograph. T.O.P, then, said quietly, "Sorry, I don't know sign language." The fan just didn't know what to say after.

17) There was a time when GD was walking Gaho near Han River. There was a person who wanted to talk to him so he commented, "Wow, this dog is adorable" but then forgot Gaho's name. He said, "Fuju? Is his name Fuju?" GD was shocked hearing that and the person shocked too after seeing GD's expression.

18) BIGBANG members (used to?) love wearing oversized pants so when fans see them, they would say, "Oppa, your pants are going to fall" and also offer to pull GD's pants up for him.
